The University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE) expansion and renovation has been awarded LEED v4 Gold.

“I can think of no better day to share the news of our LEED Gold certification than today — Earth Day,” said Penn GSE Dean Katharine Strunk. “We remain deeply committed to Penn’s Climate and Sustainability Action Plan to move the campus closer to becoming 100% carbon neutral by 2042.”

Philip Chen FAIA, Annum Architects President, said, “Sustainability was at the core of this project, which transformed a 60-year-old site and buildings into a modern and vibrant home for GSE, nourishing the community and serving their needs now and long into the future.”

Our work for Harvard Divinity School’s Swartz Hall has been honored with an Architect’s Newspaper 2023 Best of Design Award! Our LEED Platinum project received an honorable mention in the Religious category.

Our renovation and expansion of Harvard Divinity School’s Swartz Hall has received a 2023 New England Architecture Award. It was a pleasure to attend the celebration in Mystic, Connecticut to accept the Merit Award in the Educational category.

Annum was also recognized as a 2023 New England AIA Components Emerging Professional Friendly Firm.

We are proud to announce that Xue Fei Lin, John Turnbull, and Tayyaba Anwar have all recently passed the Architectural Registration Examination (ARE), a last step of many in becoming a registered architect. Congratulations to our evolving and awesomely talented team!
