Steven G. Gerrard

Steven Gerrard has been a key design innovator at the firm for over 20 years, leading projects for educational and cultural clients. His hands-on approach to design is marked by a dedication to crafting thoughtful architecture through creativity and teamwork. For the past 30 years, Steve’s love for art and drawing has been at the heart of the way he works and communicates. A passionate maker, he embraces drawing tools and techniques, mastering traditional media like pen, pencil, and watercolor, as well as various forms of digital modeling and media.  

Steve’s numerous award-winning projects at Annum bring beauty, clarity, and functionality together. His work has been honored by the American Institute of Architects and its chapters, including the Boston Society of Architects, AIA Rhode Island, AIA Vermont, AIA Illinois, and AIA New England.  Steve holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science from Lawrence Institute of Technology.  

Steven serves on the Design Review Board of his hometown Natick, MA.  He has also been a visiting professor at Roger Williams University and a visiting design critic for the Rhode Island School of Design, the Boston Architectural College, Wentworth Institute, and Northeastern University.
