Meghann McMahon
AIA, Architect

Meghann joined Annum in 2022 after completing her M.Arch from the University of Virginia along with a certificate in historic preservation. Since then, she has focused on higher education and cultural projects, including the renewal of Georgia Tech’s historic DM Smith Building and the renovation of Duke University’s Reuben-Cooke Building. She is currently part of the design team for the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, where she is working on the interior renovation of gallery spaces and public amenities within the building.

As one of the first team members in Annum’s newly established Washington, DC office, Meghann is helping to shape the firm’s presence in the region while continuing to support the practice’s work in preservation and adaptive reuse. With a dual background in civil engineering and architecture, she brings a strong appreciation of both the technical and aesthetic aspects of design, and is dedicated to creating thoughtful solutions that respect the historical and cultural narratives of each project.

Beyond architecture, Meghann enjoys sketching, reading, and hiking with her dog around the DC/Virginia area.
